Today's #fmsphotoaday prompt is "mine" so it's fitting for me to talk about Minecraft, the pixelated computer game that over 12 million to-date have purchased!

This game can has beautiful caves full of waterfalls and lava that you can mine in. The picture above is a screenshot of a ravine that I found last year.

This is definitely one of those games where you lose track of time. Each world is randomly generated for each player. It's a sandbox game, meaning that you can do whatever you want in the game. Although there is technically an object to win the game (defeat the Ender Dragon to obtain the achievement The End) but the most common and simple objective is to stay alive while all the monsters are out until morning comes again. If you do happen to die then you respawn at your spawn spot. You lose all your inventory though. >_<

I honestly haven't played the game since the new update changed the monster mechanics and made staying in one place unwise. I spent so much time on that farm! I don't want to have to leave!

Nevertheless, to celebrate Minecraft, or as I like to call it Minecrack or Legos with Monsters, I made a Keep Calm and Mine On button!
