5 Fandom Friday: My Must See List of Halloween Movies

I have a hard time sleeping after horror movies so my Halloween movies are the nostalgic kind. I have some TV shows too. Here we go!

I was always impressed by the CG in this movie. I had the biggest crush on Devon Sawa growing up from this movie! My favorite part was when Casper in human form dances with Cat. *swoon*

This Mel Brooks classic is a family favorite. At least for my dad and I. How can you not like Leslie Nielsen and Mel Brooks in a movie parodying Dracula? The Renfield character is by far the funniest!

This show wasn't as scary as it came off to be although there were certainly come creepy stories in the show, including:  a girl's friend is turned into a doll by the dollhouse in her attic, a librarian who traps voices in a box to keep the library quiet and, a comic book villain is brought to life after a boy microwaves to try and dry it out. Despite my aversion to horror movies this show didn't disrupt my sleep.

I always watched Practical Magic at my aunts house when I was a teenager. I loved the sisterly bond presented in the movie. Plus, the daughter of one of the characters has my full first name:  Antonia. The movie was well done too!

I haven't watched Nightmare Before Christmas as often as I'd like. I had to go to my friend's house to watch it as I never remembered to ask for it for Christmas or for my birthday. Catching it on TV was such a treat! The stop motion is incredible and I adore musicals!
