Throwback Thursday - Scrawny Girl!

It's been 6 months since Scrawny Girl has been featured! Let's see what Shawna's been up to!

What does a typical day look like for you?
I get woken up by my daughter Amelia around 8 am, and we head to the kitchen for coffee for me and breakfast for her. We usually start off watching one of her favorite shows while I check email and do social media stuff. The rest of the day is for playing, running outside to check the mail and water the plants, and having lunch. Nap time is my time to make another cup of coffee and get to work! Sometimes I'll take a break and work on my hooping skills or join a chat on twitter. When she wakes up we have a snack and watch a movie. Then it's usually time to have a dance party in the kitchen and make dinner in time for my husband to come home from work. Mostly we just play or watch a show until bed time, and then I stay up and work for a few hours.

How do you take your caffeine?
Yummy hot coffee! I even drink hot coffee in the summer...

What do you know now that you wish you knew 6 months ago?
I've learned so much it's hard to pin point one thing! I'm so glad I joined all the handmade/indie biz communities that I'm apart of!

How has your shop grown in the past 6 months?
I've found my niche and style. I focus on illustration work now, but I do plan to bring dolls back in the future made with fabric I've designed. It's been an exciting 6 months, and I've been featured on several blogs, and really gotten my work out there.

Where would you like to see your shop in the next 3 years?
I haven't really thought that far into the future, but perhaps selling at some big craft fairs and maybe selling a children's book that I've illustrated and wrote. >_<
Thank you so much for stopping by to catch up with Shawna of Scrawny Girl!

Say Hello!
