Adagio Teas - Tea of the Month Club - Green Pekoe

Those of you who follow me on Twitter saw that I've been ranting and raving about the awesomeness of Adagio Teas

I have joined the Tea of the Month Club this year! I'm so excited! You choose between five categories: herbal, flavored, decaf, green/oolong or black. You choose if you want 6 months or an entire year. You can switch it up every time too! Every two months you receive two 1.5oz packages of loose leaf tea. I choose to have an entire year of green/oolong tea. Shipping was free as it was over $49!

You will need an infuser if you don't already have one. One of my friends gifted me with their IngenuiTEA for Christmas! :)

My first two teas are Green Pekoe and Casablanca Twist.

I will start with Green Pekoe first.

You steep this tea for 2 minutes at 180 degrees. I boil 12oz of water in a measuring cup and wait until the water just starts to bubble. That's roughly 180 degrees.

Green Pekoe is a pretty normal green tea. It has a bit of a buttery taste to it. It's not grassy at all! It's a very smooth, light taste. I don't steep this longer than recommended but it really depends on your personal tastes.

Next up:  Casablanca Twist!

Do you frequent Adagio Teas? What type of tea is your favorite?
